- Miscellaneous Fees or Costs - Photography sessions do not cover additional fees for national park permits, entry fees, excess travel or additional gear, music, or sound/visual effects required for the project. The client can choose to arrange this before the shoot or the photographer can at an additional cost.
- Rescheduling and Weather:
- Animal Health/Safety: If the animal is ill, injured, or showing signs of extreme stress, the session will be rescheduled at no additional cost. The safety of the animal and the Photographer is the priority.
- Weather: The Photographer reserves the right to reschedule due to rain, extreme wind, or poor lighting conditions.
- Client Rescheduling: One (1) rescheduling is permitted if requested at least 24 hours in advance. Subsequent reschedules or "no-shows" will result in the forfeiture of the booking free and a new booking will be required.
- Animal Behaviour and Safety:
- Liability: The Owner/Client is responsible for the behaviour of the animal at all times. The Photographer is not liable for any injuries or damage caused by the animal during the session.
- Non-Performance: If an animal becomes aggressive or unmanageable to the point where it poses a safety risk to the Photographer or equipment, the Photographer reserves the right to end the session. No refunds will be issued in this circumstance.
- Artistic Style and Editing:
- Artistic Discretion: The Client acknowledges they have reviewed the Photographer’s portfolio and agree to the "Wildlife" editing style.
- Editing/Retouching: The Photographer will perform standard retouching; however, extensive "body contouring" or complex background removals not agreed upon in the package may incur an additional fee.
- RAW Files: The Photographer does not provide unedited (RAW) files under any circumstances. The "product" is the final, edited image. Please be clear in your brief if you have specific requirements and they will be taken into consideration if able.

FAQ's
- Which areas do you service? Brisbane | Ipswich | Scenic Rim | Redlands City. If you are unsure, please contact me.
- What is your Availability? Saturday 7 am - 7 pm. Sunday 7 am - 7 pm. Contact me if you would like another time. I will see if it is at all possible.
- What payment methods do you accept? Payment is accepted via PayPal (no account required). Digital Download file(s) and the customer's receipt are automatically delivered via email with a secured link to download image(s).
- Do I need to prepare before the photoshoot? Yes! Stunning photos require careful preparation of the animal, yourself, equipment used, etc.
- Do you edit the photos? Yes, absolutely! Unedited RAW photos rarely do the subject justice; I enhance every image; it’s an end-to-end process. I edit in my own style, please check my portfolio BEFORE booking. I love crisp and vibrant imagery. The editing requires a minimum of colour correction, exposure correction, cleaning the image, and texture/sharpness.
- Can I share the gallery? Yes, you can share the gallery using the link. It is a private gallery, but you can share that private link.
- How long can I access the photos? The gallery will be active for 6 months after the photoshoot. After the gallery expires, the images will be unavailable; this is simply due to the cost of server space and additional business costs. Please ensure you have chosen and purchased your favourite photos and artwork for keepsakes. I would hate for you to lose them.
Preparation - Before the Photoshoot
- The "Look": Grooming for the Camera:
- The "Deep Clean": High-resolution cameras pick up every speck of dust. A thorough bath the day before is essential. For horses, pay special attention to the dock, hooves, and muzzle.
- Fly Management: For equine shoots, apply fly spray immediately before we start. A swishing tail or twitching skin can break the "majestic" feel of a still portrait.
- The Details: Ensure eyes and nostrils are wiped clean just before we begin. For dogs, a fresh brush-out to manage flyaway hairs makes a massive difference in the final edit.
- The Gear: Simple is Sophisticated:
- Less is More: For lifestyle shots, we want the animal to shine, not the equipment. Use your cleanest, most aesthetic halter or collar.
- The "Invisible" Look: If possible, have a "show" halter (leather or thin rope) available. For dogs, a thin slip-lead is often easier to "edit out" than a bulky harness.
- Clean Your Tack: if you are in the photos, ensure your boots and saddlery are polished.
- The Energy: Calm is Key:
- Exercise First: If your animal is high-energy, give them a light workout/play session a few hours before the shoot. We want them "settled," not exhausted.
- The "Treat" Factor: Have their absolute favourite high-value treats on hand.
- The Secret Weapon: If your animal responds to sounds, let me know. I often use specific wildlife calls or apps to get that "ears forward" alert expression.
- The Environment:
- Minimise Distractions: Try to keep other animals away from the immediate shooting area. We want your animal’s focus on us, not their stablemates or the neighbourhood mouse.
- The Golden Hour: We will likely shoot 90 minutes before sunset. Please be tacked up, or ready 15 minutes before I arrive, so we don't miss the best light.
