Location: This defensive adult kangaroo was photographed at Wacol, Brisbane.
Fact: While a male normally stands at about 1.5–1.7 meters, when he feels threatened or wants to intimidate a rival, he performs a behavior called “high-standing." He will draw himself up onto the very tips of his toes and use his tail as a "kickstand" for balance.
